Cold War Kids - Loyalty to Loyalty

Wow, what an amazing sounding recording. The drums have a roomy sound with depth that I haven’t heard since Mowai’s CODY. And the rest has the softest analog smooth that sounds like carpet on the ears (insert argument on digital here).

Cold War Kids are a band from the US that play traditional American music. Think bands like Black Keys and the blues spirit of Jack White but delivering as the entire package.

There’s a slight melancholy to this album and a tone that suggests this band is comfortable to share its views and beliefs as reason to deliver music.

Stand out tracks are Mexican Dogs and opener Against Privacy.

It’s a goodin – available now.
