FĒI LÍN
In a canopy of a day dream, FĒI LÍN aka Yazmin Todd, dwells amongst the branches of indie folk and jazz. With Singaporean Chinese and New Zealand roots, the 24 year old artist draws from the richness of two different cultures, weaving observations of the heart and reflections of life into poetic soundscape.

Last year, she released her first single “The River Beneath Us” and is scheduled to release her next single “Love is a Ladder” later this year. Her music has been described as “folky bossa that soothes the soul”. Aside from her participation in the Asians in Music Sandpit programme, she also recently completed a week-long residency programme at Big Fan. (@musicfromflyingforest)

Ersha Island 二沙岛
The wasian sibling duo you didn't expect, indie-folk pop duo Ersha Island 二沙岛 are Chinese-Pākehā siblings who combine unique sounds from their cultural heritage, exploring what it means to be of mixed identity through lyrics, storytelling, and sound.

Having chalked up distinctions in Piano and Violin for Classical Performance at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing at ages 11 and 8, the siblings now write compositions featuring a blend of Eastern and Western sounds. Ersha Island 二沙岛 just released their debut EP ‘Back To Our Roots’ which sets out to explore what the Chinese-New Zealand sound could be. Club Ruby
Club Ruby is a club that worships the deity known as Ruby. WE ARE NOT A CULT. Club members come together to share juicy indie pop-punk tunes that are secretly a musical, and their friendship shines through within the conversational honest lyrics and riffy fills that will inspire head boppin joy. Become an honorary club member today by coming along to our next musical meeting, and see if YOU can handle the Ruby. (@clubrubysucks)

Varit
With his unorthodox approach in life in which it shows through his art. Varit's upbringing is not like most, making him feel like never belonging or what he calls \"foreign in a place I want to be\". Each project allows him to explore a part of his life in the most heightened and exaggerated way. Creating a world where he can escape to and live these dramatic versions of himself. From a boy confused with love to a king in an empty kingdom. \"I want to make people feel those uncontrollable human feelings.\" (@varit_k)

BEONY
Originating from New Zealand, BEONY cultivates his Korean culture whilst encompassing his experiences growing up as a 1st generation, corresponding many emotional experiences he has faced so far. Influenced by his classical Violin diploma background, BEONY blends aspects of Pop, RnB/HipHop and Indie rock with his own unique style of production and ethereal vocals. Making his wave in the New Zealand music scene, with his first two Eps being released few years ago, he has worked to define his sound most notably in his most recent releases ‘i can be!! “and “SAY IT”. Being able to incorporate harmoniously a variety of elements into his music BEONY has created his own unique breed of alternative music. (@be0ny)
