Friday 1st July, 2016 2:56PM

Wow! Can't believe it's July already! The final week of June news bought with it some interesting tour news. We were happy to reveal that Black Mountain are making the hike from Vancouver to New Zealand for two shows in the spring. Auckland psych-doom foursome sere revealed a handful of North Island dates for their album release shows. Auckland outfit Miss June is joining forces with Dunedin's Astro Children for a split 7-inch and a string of release shows in July. And the line-up for this year's Church Tour was revealed and it includes local legends Sharon O'Neill, Shona Laing, Debbie Harwood and Hammond Gamble.

In local release news this week, Marlon Williams shared a new song which was filmed by the wonderful folk at Radio New Zealand for all of us to enjoy. Auckland solo artist Juiceroof unveiled another excellent psych-pop tune by the name of 'Jamie Babe E. Pt 2'. Wellington outfit Moses premiered their new offering 'End Of The Line' which came with a fantastically though-provoking video. And folk artist Dave Weir let loose his brilliant new single 'She Of The Countryside' as he gets closer to unveiling debut EP Food For Thought. And from overseas, garage super-group GOGGS let slip a stream of their kickass self-titled debut album. Devendra Banhart announced a new record and shared new single 'Middle Names'. And in the heart-breaker category, Angel Olsen stunned everyone with the self-directed video for brand new single 'Shut Up Kiss Me'.

We already shared a top notch video from Lightning Tape Wolf And His Tape Wolves this week, but we can't go past this coool clip of the trio playing at Newton Festival for this week's Caught Live....
