Listen/Watch: Papa M - Bloom

It's been a rough couple of years for Slint guitarist David Pajo, having survived a suicide attempt in early 2015 and then a horrific motorcycle accident earlier this year. But the Los Angeles musician is coming through the end of the tunnel to release a new album under his solo moniker, Papa M.

Titled Highway Songs, the record is due out 11th November via Drag City, and Pajo has given us a taste of what to expect with crunchy new single 'Bloom'. The wordless track comes accompanied by a beautiful video conjured up by Kansas Bowling that features Pajo in his wheelchair, still recovering from nearly losing his foot in the accident.
