The eagerly anticipated combo of Brooklyn’s Big Thief and Spiral Stairs (aka Scott Kannberg of Pavement) graced Auckland’s Tuning Fork last night. The double-headline bill saw Spiral Stairs bringing their buzzy brand of catchy songwriting to adoring fans, with the evening peaking in Big Thief’s masterfully crafted and excellently executed performance of their introspective tunes.
