FAIRLY OBVIOUS
Fairly Obvious are a progressive pop-punk band from Taupo, New Zealand, blending big hooks with restless energy.
In early 2026, the band opened for Zed, Iggy Pop, and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts at the Summer Concert Tour — a huge milestone for a band that only begun writing original material months earlier.
The Taupo four-piece assembled a full set of original songs and released their debut single Picnic Holiday soon after, followed by the next single, SpaceBetween, released August 6 .
Fairly Obvious are quickly building momentum and establishing themselves as one of New Zealand’s emerging acts to watch.
CONTROL THEORY
Born in Hamilton, New Zealand, Control Theory brings together members of Arkanine, Alpha Coda, Afterthought and 88MPH
Loud guitars. Strong bass tones. Pounding drums. Vocals that bite.
Control Theory delivers alternative rock that's melodic, upbeat and aggressive—built to hit hard without sacrificing the song.
No overthinking. No bullshit. Just raw energy, big hooks and music made to move a room.
THE EASY BROTHERS
The Easy Brothers blend soulful vocals, bluesy guitar work, and modern indie-rock energy into a sound that feels both nostalgic and new.
With honest songwriting and groove-driven performances, they craft songs built to move hearts and lift spirits
