Join us as we explore the history of the saxophone through 300 years of music performed by an exciting yet subtle chamber duo.
This concert explores a broad range of music, from pieces by J.S Bach which predate the saxophone by over 100 years, to modern compositions which push the limits of the instrument. Between these moments you will hear some of the greatest works for saxophone, from the popular showcase Pequeña Czarda to the elegant staple Tableaux de Provence.
Hear the many moods and timbres of the saxophone, from delicately soaring melodies, to dark, enchanting arias and joyful, raucous moments.
