Pop/Punk band Fairly Obvious are making their way up the North Island from Taupo to bring you a live performance of their freshly released debut album It Should Be.
Fairly Obvious are a progressive pop-punk band from Taupo, New Zealand, blending big hooks with restless energy.
In early 2026, the band opened for Zed, Iggy Pop, and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts at the Summer Concert Tour — a huge milestone for a band that only begun writing original material months earlier.
The Taupo four-piece assembled a full set of original songs and released their debut single Picnic Holiday soon after, followed by the next single, SpaceBetween, released August 6.
Their debut album was released 15th October (Excl. Streaming Platforms) and alongside a powerful live show, Fairly Obvious are quickly building momentum and establishing themselves as one of New Zealand’s emerging acts to watch.
