Best Enemies is a five piece band made up of members that have played together over the years in different line ups. We focus heavily on original songs peppered with covers in the Americana vein ie: John Prine, Kieran Kane, Bob Dylan and Guy Clark as examples.

15 years with The Streamliners band
5 years Creedence Clearwater Tribute band Sydney
5 years originals band Sydney 'Too Many Nights'
All members have at some stage played with the Streamliners
Graham Martin:
Lead Guitar, Vocals, Composer
Has Duo with well known Bass player Barry Smith
Played some years with 'The Moonshiners'
Has Chet Atkins influences about his style
Has attended 2 Chet Atkins workshops in Nashville
Phil Patey:
Bass Player
Played for some years with 'Clamour' covers band
Recorded with Clamour
Played over 250 gigs in New Caledonia with 'The Red Lemons' who headlined several local music festivals
Lynden Jackson:
Drummer extraordinaire
Puts the back beat to well known bands 'Muddy Mama's Blues Band' and 'Secrete Lives of Ukulele'
Recorded on several tracks on Warren Meuli's 3rd album 'Love Law and Order'
Chas Williams:
Key boards, Vocals, Song Writer
Has released solo originals album
$10 members, $15 non-members and $5 students with ID
Doors open 7.00pm Performance starts at 7.30pm, you will get a seat if you arrive close to 7 pm.
VENUE: Irish Society Hall, 29 Domain Terrace, Spreydon
The hall is situated up the long driveway, directly next to Domain Park, and there is plenty of well-lit off-street parking.
DOOR SALES CASH ONLY: Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake available during the break, also bar facilities for cold refreshments throughout the night, Eftpos available for purchases only, no cash-out facility. Folk Club and Irish Society members please remember to bring your current membership card as this is required for new club licensing. Non-members sign in at bar.
