DEMOLITION MAN
Sargent John Spartan, a one-man task-force is sent to rescue hostages taken by ruthless psychopath Simon Phoenix. But tragedy occurs and both men are sentenced a 100 year cryogenic prison sentence. When Phoenix escapes and starts tearing up the city, we realise there’s only one man able to stop him.
MEMORY FOAM
“Once described by Undertheradar as ‘a non-stop barrage of catchy hooks and face melting psych guitar solos’, Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland’s Memory foam are a force to be reckoned with. The five-piece guitar/synth post-punk outfit were founded in 2019 by Auckland indie stalwart Samuel Moore and have been going from strength to strength ever since, playing blistering performances alongside acts like DieDieDie, Upper Hutt Posse & Wax Chattels, Earth tongue and more. Having garnered attention in the international indie-blogosphere and becoming firm favourites on student radio across New Zealand in 2022, Memory foam’s ferocious, noisy, Mike Logie co-produced debut album ‘Steel Magnolias’ was released in September 2022 and is making waves across the alternative music landscape.”
