The Chills Share Two New Songs 'Complex' + 'Lord Of All I Survey'
Thursday 5th July, 2018 10:44AM
Dunedin music figurehead Martin Phillipps has followed swiftly on the announcement that his band The Chills are dropping their album Snow Bound in mid-September and embarking on an extensive nationwide tour with the release of two new songs from that record, 'Complex' and 'Lord Of All I Survey'. 'Complex' is a upbeat jangle-pop anthem in Phillipps' instantly recognisable style, balancing effervescent melodies with introspective moods, while 'Lord Of All I Survey' warms up listeners with its sea-shanty-like strut. Both tunes whet the appetite for the veteran band's keenly anticipated new record, listen to them here...
'Snow Bound' is out Friday 14th September via Fire Records / Southbound.
