Listen to The Big Fresh Collective's 'FOOTMAHI WORLD CUP 2026'

Get the crew together and crack open the Cody's, it's the FOOTMAHI WORLD CUP 2026. The latest instalment of The Big Fresh Collective's award winning annual compilation series champions the gloriously inclusive, no-rules notion of Footmahi — "first brought to light by BFC founding member MUSHMANE of Tainui" — with a forty eight track crate of electronic dancefloor pumping insta-classics, crafted by producers all around the motu.

Starting strong with the head-spinning beat-work and next level wordplay of 'KAPEESH!' by 2026 Te Manu Taki Tāhiko o te Tau | Best Electronic Artist winners Caru and Brandn Shiraz, many of your faves are present for this essential Aotearoa team snapshot. Skymning, Jack Glacier, Young Gho$t, Current Bias, Andwahn, Missrosevalentina, DJ Gran Turismo, Synthetic Children, Call Centre, BFC's breakout star Donk Dobbo, and that's just for starters, all putting their personal spin on Footmahi in party-igniting style. The compilation is curated and sequenced with evident care by label chief Liam K. Swiggs, who'll soon be "hang(ing) up the decks after a shining career spanning well over a decade behind the wheels of steel."

Needless to say, this month's Footmahi World Cup 2026 Release Parties are mandatory events, happening simultaneously in both Ōtautahi and Te Whanganui-a-Tara, directly after the Kiwis versus Cook Islands Rugby League World Cup match at One New Zealand stadium. Tuck into the sonic generosity that is FOOTMAHI WORLD CUP 2026, and salute the era-defining mahi of Swiggs and extended fam on 25th October...

"The story goes that the BFC were huddled up drinking a communal slab of 8% Cody’s on a bitterly cold Ōtautahi winters afternoon watching a young in-form Shaun Johnson absolutely tear the Sydney Roosters defence to shreds with his electric “footwork” - when Mushmane screamed out “LOOK AT THE FOOTMAHI” changing the course of BFC history forever all in the birthplace of The Big Fresh Collective; The Parage on 40A Richill Street, Belfast, Ōtautahi.

The Journey of Footmahi has taken us all over AOTEAROA working with & entertaining people from all walks of life that we are proud to call our Whānau"
