Creative Sound Collective is proud to present a performance by Japanese musician, performance and visual artist kina:suttsu.
Utilising saxophone, electronics, noise, and field recordings, kina:suttsu creates immersive pertormances that blur the boundaries between ancient ritual and contemporary experimental music.
Since releasing her tirst album in 2005, she has performed and exhibited in Japan and internationally.
Her releases include music on labels in the UK and France, and she has recorded with legendary bassist Jah Wobble and released a live recording with Damo Suzuki of Can.
She will be joined by local duo The Limb Centre, (Mark Anderson - keyboards, noises, vocals / Michael Hawksworth - samples, rhythms, turntables) who make music improvised largely from field recordings and loops created from treated op shop LPs.
