Winners of the Tūī for Best Rock Artist at the 2025 Aotearoa Music Awards, DARTZ zoomed up the highway on Sunday from Taupō (where they played on Saturday night) to rock Tāmaki Makaurau's Double Whammy, with zero fears of a workday Monday morning hangover thanks to the long Labour weekend. Taking a moment away from his busy political photography schedule, Bruce Mackay got amongst to capture the untamed energy of DARTZ in full flight at one of our nation's most beloved independent music venues, wrapping up a spring nationwide launch tour for their insta-classic new single 'Plastic White Chairs'.
