Double Parked come from the bush and beach of West Auckland and are bringing their frothy surf rock sound to the South Island. A band who likes to connect with everyone in the audience, their original tunes transcend sub-genres within the indie rock space. The band started out shaking the floors at big Westie house parties and are now focused on getting their music out into the wide world.
With the release of their debut EP Lost in the Groove, the boys couldn't resist bringing it to the wonderful city that is Otautahi. This 5-song EP has a little bit of something for everyone. From frothy tunes about surfing to raw, emotive alty-ballads about the troubles of life, Lost in the Groove has the roses and the thorns. To celebrate this release, they are doing a 3 stop tour journeying up New Zealand, playing Dunedin, Christchurch and Auckland though out May.

Charged with an electrifying fusion of disco, pop, and rock, Ōtautahi-based Castaway bring a captivating, high-energy show to any stage they come across. The band plays vibrant, upbeat originals alongside fresh takes on old classics. Featuring multiple vocalists and instrument swapping, Castaway takes you on a journey back to the golden days of dance floors. Now in their second year of living in a flat together, the band are committed to inspiring positive feelings through authenticity and honesty as people and musicians.
