MAYDAY, or International Workers Day, is a sacred holiday in the labour movement. Commemorating the tragic end to a monumentous strike in 1886 America, Mayday is a yearly celebration of the international labour movement.
This year, iconic Wellington venue The Rogue and Vagabond is partnering with Unions Wellington to bring you an event that will sate your thirst for breakthrough local music, celebrate workers rights and rekindle your hope for social and economic justice in Aotearoa - and the world.
