Garage Sale is back, and we're proud to present another blockbuster headliner for our first show of 2024: the incomparable PAPA NUGS
Papa Nugs is a London based producer, DJ & record collector with a bag traversing trance, techno, electro, breaks and multiple flavours of house from progressive to Trade-era hard house all whilst drawing influence from the sounds rooted in the UK scene from which he came. The past year has seen notable growth in Papa Nugs’ artistic development, both as a producer and DJ. Now a Rinse FM resident, he has performed at a number of massive festivals and venues including Glastonbury, Gottwood, Fabric, Twisted, The Cause & fledgling Madruga Festival. The upcoming months mark an exciting shift in the Nuggys’ output as a producer, with his sound moving towards a four to the floor interpretation of the aforementioned records he’s been digging. Releases at the tail end of last year on RAND Muzik, WARNING Berlin, Semi Delicious and the launch of his new label ‘SUCKERPUNCH’ will ensure if you’re still unfamiliar with him, you won’t be for long.
Joining him we have a colossal support lineup, starting off with Bubble UKG head honcho COLDPAST, coming all the way from Melbourne for his debut NZ shows, armed with a stack of dubs from across the ditch.
We also have Redline Records ringleader JOSHI, one of the primary figures in Aotearoa's burgeoning garage scene, laying down a set of homegrown shellers from some of the country's finest talents.
On local support we have rising star AMIRA, a funky selector with a taste for the finer things in life, and local legend MR MEATY BOY, a seasoned room-shaker with a reputation for delivering the hard stuff.
As usual, we will have boosted sounds courtesy of FURTHER SOUND, and microphone toasting from our regular host YOUNG GHO$T, as well as visuals from VJ LIGHTSMITH.
Limited $25 early birds will be available from undertheradar.co.nz- snap one up while you can and lock in for a night of serious grooves.
