Lontalius Announces Auckland Headline Show

One of Aotearoa's musical success stories of the past decade, Lontalius' journey has taken Pōneke songwriter / producer Eddie Johnston (aka Race Banyon) from teen viral fame — racking up literally hundreds of millions of streams globally — to the emotive soul-pop of his new album Real Fruit Ice Cream. An incisive commentator on our ever-changing music industry for such prominent platforms as RNZ, Metro and The Fold during recent years, the prodigious talent has announced his first headline show since 2019, following his seventh studio record's release in mid-August via Universal Music.

Written, produced, composed and mixed by the artist himself (à la Prince), Real Fruit Ice Cream is a nine song cycle reflecting on "holding onto the small stuff, staying put while everyone else leaves, and trying to make peace with time passing."
