Jan Preston’s 2022 NZ concerts contain her favourite songs and instrumentals in a SHOWCASE performance.
“Over the past 2 years with lockdowns and cancellations due to covid and border closures, I’ve had time to reflect on my repertoire, rework some material, and bring out songs and instrumentals .I haven’t performed in years” says Jan. “With the perspective of time and distance I have been able to hear my music anew, and I’m excited to be expanding my singing and playing.”
Jan’s longstanding affection for Winifred Atwell will be included in her show, together with her trademark energetic piano grooves and sultry vocals.

Jan Preston’s early career began in NZ with the 1980 Hit Band Coup D’Etat. Winner of 5 music awards, she also composes music for film and TV. She will be joined by Mike Pullman on percussion .
