Music @ Midday is a weekly free concert series at Pah Homestead, aka The Arts House Trust, 72 Hillsborough Rd, Auckland. Concerts are free and last for 1 hour - midday til 1pm.
Brenda Liddiard & Mark Laurent are this week's performers - an eclectic mix of originals, guitar, mandolin & vocals. The show will be peppered with short bursts of poetry as well.
Pah Homestead is a gracious old mansion which started its life as a convent and is now a vibrant arts centre with galleries and a fantastic cafe, beautiful park-like grounds which you're free to explore - and of course the music, which happens in the ballroom - lovely acoustics and a serene ambience.
Mark & Brenda will have CDs and poetry books on sale at a very reasonable price should you be interested.
